Sephora and TikTok have entered a unique first-of-its-kind partnership that promotes diverse representation in beauty and music. The Sephora x TikTok Incubator Program works with Sephora Accelerate brands and emerging artists from Sephora Sounds and TikTok creators. This initiative aimed to elevate Sephora Sounds artists by equipping them with best practices for musicians on TikTok, and to educate Sephora Accelerate brands on the strategic use of sound in their social content, ultimately, establishing long-term partnerships rooted in sound. Three Sephora Accelerate brands—Mango People, Sienna Naturals, and Brown Girl Jane—attended a music masterclass and an in-person songwriter camp at the iconic Westlake Studios in Hollywood. Each brand partnered with a Sephora Sounds artist to craft a custom music track that encapsulated their unique brand identity and ethos. Then, each brand partnered with three TikTok creators, who used their creative flair to bring this music to life on the platform. Mango People founder Sravya Adusumilli created ‘Glow’ with Nicole Han, Sienna Naturals founder Hannah Diop worked with J Maya for ‘H.A.P.I Place’, and Brown Girl Jane Founder & CEO Malaika Jones made ‘Carousel’ with Rawan Chaya.
